Chaos Reigns as Mayhem Disbands and New Alliances Form at Apex Uprising

Oct 10, 2025

Dick Biggems and Josh Zodiac welcomed viewers back to Apex Uprising following the ramifications of Total Mayhem, and the night immediately kicked off with controversy as Madman Middleton attempted to cash in his Right to Fight contract on an unsanctioned championship - the Mad House title he previously lost to Howler. Despite the commentary team questioning the legitimacy of the cash-in, the match proceeded with Madman ultimately defeating Howler to reclaim his beloved cardboard championship. However, questions remain about the whereabouts of the actual Right to Fight briefcase, which mysteriously disappeared during the match.
The night's most significant moment came when Maniac officially disbanded Mayhem following their loss at Total Mayhem. In an emotional confrontation, Maniac released Ryan Rage and Azmodus from the group, encouraging them to pursue their own paths in Apex. However, the reunion took a dark turn when Dark Disciple appeared and engaged in a heated argument with Maniac about who was responsible for the group's failures.
J-Sin, appearing to act as interim General Manager, interrupted the segment and announced an immediate match between Dark Disciple and Ryan Rage, cementing the dissolution of their former alliance. Biggems and Zodiac noted J-Sin's unusual authority, questioning where regular GM TJ has been.
In tag team action, Azmodus defeated the team of Matt Killer and Espino the Warrior in impressive fashion, though the commentary team debated whether Espino actually scored the pinfall when Azmodus pinned both opponents simultaneously.
The heated rivalry between former Mayhem members continued as Dark Disciple faced Ryan Rage in a physical encounter. Josh Zodiac noted that both competitors showed their intensity in what the commentary team called a preview of things to come.
Current Apex Champion Striker made a bold open challenge, declaring he would defend his title "anytime, anywhere." This brought out Maniac, who revealed he was responsible for the recent attack on Striker's car. J-Sin then announced that Striker would defend his championship at Fatality in a Fatal Four-Way match against Maniac, Ryan Rage, and Sage - with Biggems and Zodiac expressing shock at all four competitors being announced one by one.
The announcement led to an impromptu tag team match as J-Sin ordered Sage and Striker to team up against Maniac and Ryan Rage. In a surprising result, Sage scored the pinfall over Maniac, building momentum heading into the Fatal Four-Way championship match. The commentary team noted how rare it is to see Maniac take a clean pinfall.
With tensions running high and new rivalries forming from Mayhem's ashes, Apex Fatality promises to be an explosive event. The show takes place Saturday, October 18th at 6 PM at Archie's Patio in Rockport, Texas.

Wait... was that the Right to Fight contract briefcase? Did someone grab it after the Madman match? Who was that? We need to investigate this further for next week's coverage....
